I make works on paper, primarily prints, t-shirts and political posters with sometimes sharp and/or obscene social commentary. I like cast off items that are shaped by neglect and nature – flattened cans, rocks that become diamonds and discarded press-on fingernails.
I also make paintings in oil and work sculpturally in the form of crafting interior and landscape spaces at Four Winds Farm, here in Peterborough, NH.

I attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in the 1980’s before dropping out and finishing a degree in literature at Bennington College in Vermont. I returned to school to study counseling psychology, which enriches my artwork and keeps me interested in what is imbued beneath the surface of what is visible.

I lived in California for 25 years and am a practicing psychotherapist.
